Description
Located on 18th Street in Wheeling, West Virginia, Laughlin Memorial Chapel serves many children, ages 5 through 18, most from the East Wheeing neighborhood, through the Chapel's after school programs. Students receive a healthy snack upon arrival; work on their homework with college-based tutors; and then participate in religious or arts based activities before enjoying a nutritious, hot supper. Transportation is provided to take each young person home in the early evening.
These programs are active Monday through Thursday during the school year.
An active, well-planned summer program rounds out the year.
