Description

This corporation has been formed for charitable and educational purposes. Its specific and primary purposes are: to eliminate prejudice and descrimination, defend human and civil rights secured by law, encourage instruction or training of individuals for the purpose of improving or developing their capabilities, and encourage instruction of the public on subjects useful to individuals and beneficial to the community. To accomplish these purposes, the corporation will support and improve services to the Latino population in Champaign County by building the capacity of service-providing organizations and individuals through the distribution of information relating to community safety, legal rights, healthcare, educational and employment opportunities, language skills and other subjects beneficial to the community.
