The Latino Arts, Inc. mission is:
• To strengthen and preserve the cultural heritage of the diverse Hispanic community in Milwaukee and Wisconsin.
• To increase cultural awareness and diversity by offering performances, exhibits and education in the areas of dance, drama, literature, music and visual arts to the greater Milwaukee community.
Latino Arts, Inc. is heralded as a model for arts education and youth development in the urban community. Every year, nearly 10,000 students from throughout Wisconsin visit Latino Arts on field trips to attend special student matinee performances, educational workshops, art exhibits, and other special cultural events. High quality classroom study guides are prepared for every performance and visual arts exhibit, and are downloadable in PDF format from the Latino Arts website.
