Description
Lake Merritt UMC is a downtown Oakland, progressive Christian congregation. This community's purpose is to serve the community that surrounds us in the name of Christ. We do this by participating as part of the Alameda County Community Food Bank, by offering our building as a place for community non-profit activities, and as a progressive Christian presence with adults of all ages, young people, gay and lesbians, as well as people of all races and nations.
