Description
The Elsinore Princess is in the process of being restored and is a former glass bottom boat built in 1923 and launched in 1924. Mr. Wm. Wrigley had five wooden boats of similar construction built and the Elsinore Princess is the last one of her kind. Many famous people took a ride around Catalina Island on this vessel such as Eleanor Roosevel and Hedda Hopper. It took three weeks to move the vessel from Long Beach (where it was first moored when moved from Catalina Island) to Lake Elsinore, CA.
The vessel is registered with the Riverside County as a Historical Site, RIV-070 and is tax exempt under Section 501c(3).
