Description
Lafayette Transitional Housing Center, Inc. is a non-profit organization which began in 1989 to develop housing, offer supportive services, and other opportunities to foster self-sufficiency for the homeless, particularly families with children, in our community.
LTHC is comprised of four separate programs. Two of the programs are transitional housing, one for homeless families with children, the other for homeless men and women. The third program is the Self-Sufficiency Program, which is for anyone in our community who is homeless or at-risk of homelessness. Our newest program is the Lincoln Center Permanent Supportive Housing Project.
The goal of each of the programs is to support people who are homeless while they learn the skills needed to increase their income and maintain permanent housing.
