The Ladies of Charity were foundede in 1615 by St. Vincent dePaul to care for the poor.
Today, the Ladies in various cities maintain Thrift Shops, Soup Kitchens, small ousehold items,Scolarships for High School students, Aid with clothing for First Communions, and home visits . Some Chapters have other charities that are needed in their areas.
