LAOH is volunteer, non-profit organization made up of Irish American women. The group does community services and gives money to various charities, individuals or groups in time of need.
The LAOH was founded in NY in the late 1800's.
There are women's AOH divisions all accross the US and in the Philadelphia surrounding counties alone there are 11 women's divisions.
