Description
La Cuna means "cradle" in Spanish, a place of safety and comfort for babies.
Established in 2003 to address the shortage of quality foster homes serving Latino babies and toddlers, the mission of La Cuna is to develop programs that allow foster infants to grow up healthy and happy, and to evaluate the results and create best practices that will improve the lives of Latino foster infants throughout California.
The vision of La Cuna is to create communities whereby the issue of foster children becomes a high priority and thus all Latino foster children receive the nurturing they need to develop into productive members of their community.
