jazz89 KUVO (89.3 FM Denver) is a non-profit, Hispanic-controlled public radio station broadcasting for the past 21 years.
The mission statement of Denver Educational Broadcasting KUVO is to provide alternative educational, informational and entertainment opportunities that enrich, maintain, reflect and institutionalize a multilingual and multicultural perspective, as well as foster appreciation for cultural diversity with an emphasis on the Chicano/eispanic experience.
According to Wikipedia, we are the only radio station in the region to play a diverse and broad range of music that embraces the cultural diversity of jazz, blues and Latin jazz.
