Description
The Knox County Health Clinic offers free or low-cost health care for those who are uninsured or underinsured and cannot afford to pay for basic health care. The clinic is operated by Mid-Coast Health Net, a non-profit corporation.
Care is provided by volunteer physicians, nurses, social workers, and other personnel. In addition to the medical clinic, prescription assistance is also offered as well as a dental program.
