Description
KittyKaretakers of Queens is a group of dedicated volunteers working together to help reduce the suffering of stray and feral cats in Queens County, New York City. Patty Kline, the organization’s founder, has worked to save countless kittens and cats in her native Woodside, Queens neighborhood, as well as other areas in Queens, for many years. In 2001, she officially incorporated the 501(c)(3), not for-profit, no-kill corporation.
KittyKaretakers has two main goals:
- to find homes for as many homeless cats and kittens as possible, and
- to reduce the number of feral cats living on the streets.
