Background:
The Kirby Senior Center was established in 1993 and provides numerous opportunities and activities which promote the welfare and well-being of senior citizens in northeast Bexar County.
Activities:
Our programs at the Kirby Senior Center focus on keeping the mind and body active, within a family-like atmosphere. One primary function we serve is as a nutritional center. We offer hot, wholesome, and low-cost meals at noon, Monday through Friday. We also provide a light breakfast daily, free of charge. Daily transportation is provided, both to and from the Center, to Kirby residents who otherwise wouldn’t be able to participate in the Center’s activities. We also provide transportation for local events and trips of interest.
