Description
KIPP NYC is the family of all KIPP programs in New York City. Our mission is to teach our students to develop the academic and character skills necessary for success in high school and college, to be self-sufficient in the competitive world beyond, and to build a better tomorrow for themselves and us all.
KIPP NYC’s four middle schools—KIPP Academy, KIPP STAR, KIPP AMP, and KIPP Infinity—share an unrelenting focus on quality teaching and learning and results. Our schools are among the highest performing schools in their districts as measured by standardized test scores and attendance. Equally important, KIPP NYC students develop character strengths that lead to success in school and to fulfilling and engaged adult lives.
KIPP to College provides comprehensive advocacy and support to our alumni in high school, college, and beyond.
In 2009, we will be opening the KIPP NYC High School and the first two of four planned KIPP NYC elementary schools.
