Description
Kids Off The Block (KOB) was founded in 2003 by Diane Latiker. She opened her home to youth from her community to get them off the streets.
KOB's mission is to provide at-risk low income youth positive alternatives to gangs, drugs, truancy, violence, and the juvenile justice system.
Starting out with ten kids from the neighborhood, KOB now services over 300 youth a year through it's programs. Ages 12 to 19 participate in Tutoring/Mentoring, Music, Drama, Sports, Community Service, and Local/Out of Town Travel.
