Description

Kids Life Imagery Foundation is a registered non-profit organization on Saba as of November 17, 2011. We teach photography to the islands’ school children. However, we have been active since January 2010.

We believe that photography creates a big impact on our students as it teaches them to have a different perspective on the world around them; creativity, imagination, and building self-esteem.

We use photography as the medium and the camera as the tool that allows them to capture their own imagination in a unique way by teaching them to be photographers. By doing this, the students gain confidence, empowerment, self-esteem, and hope.

Our goals are to teach children photography in a way that they'll enjoy learning it and while at the same time, photography will create an impact on them that they'll continue to embrace it either as a hobby or professionally. When you learn something, you have to learn it from somewhere. This is why we exist, so as to be a starting point in a child’s life for them to learn photography.
