Mission Statement:
KIDS Inc. of Lake County is a community based group of volunteers committed to supporting the quality care of children, working to improve the lives of youth while advocating for permanency and empowering families to achieve their full potential through support and education in a positive learning environment.
KIDS Inc. of Lake County Foster/Adoptive Parent Association has served as a voice for Florida’s children and parents in Lake and Sumter Counties since 1991. Our foster/adoptive parent support group also offers supports to relative care placement. We are operated by a volunteer Board of Directors that advocates improving the retention and recruitment of foster and adoptive parents by providing adequate funding, services, and training for child and parents.
