Description
Kids in Flight is a non-profit organization that “took off” in 2003 using aviation to encourage seriously ill children and their families. Through fun and exciting programs (including flying of course!), participants have a much needed opportunity to escape from the crises they are experiencing.
When a person flies, things on the ground seem smaller, but for those fighting a serious illness, their problems can seem smaller as well. It is because of this that there is a sense of hope, determination and perseverance that is the essence of Kids in Flight and all who are involved.
The mission of Kids in Flight is to use aviation as a tool to empower seriously ill children and their families through flight experiences and educational programs.
Kids in Flight is a non-profit, tax exempt organization. All donations are tax deductible to the full extent of the law under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
