Kids in Distressed Situations, Inc. (K.I.D.S.) is a global 501(c) (3) charity of leading retailers, manufacturers and licensors of children products committed to helping children and youth in need. Last year, K.I.D.S. was able to donate more that $41 million worth of needed items to children and youth across the United States and abroad. K.I.D.S. encourages and facilitates donations of new apparel, shoes, toys, books, juvenile products and other items that benefit those that are ill, living in poverty or the victims of natural disasters. 85& of our work is in the U.S. and 15% abroad. 100% of all donated products go directly to a child in need. K.I.D.S. works at an extremely low overhead of less than 2.5%.
