Kids Around the World, Inc. was established in 1994 for the purpose of putting smiles on as many faces of as many children as we possibly can by building playgrounds…big, bright, beautiful playgrounds. We build high quality playgrounds where children can play, interact with others, have fun and develop social skills. We travel all over the world to help rebuild hope within communities where natural disaster, war, or poverty has devastated homes and families. We have built 84 playgrounds in 21 countries and 39 in the United States. They are constructed over a period of 4-7 days by all volunteers who pay their own expenses. Besides building playgrounds we are committed to reaching children around the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ and to help those who work with children. We accomplish this goal by supplying teachers with flannelgraph (story boards) and puppets, and by teaching them how to use them. We have trained over 7,000 teachers in 32 countries.
