Description
Redondo Beach, CA based, Kids & Fishing is an incentive-based program that educates and expands young inspired minds through marine awareness. After participating in beach clean-ups, in-class lectures, and tours of local aquariums, the children are rewarded for their efforts in coastal conservation, with a day of fishing. For most kids, it's their first experience on the ocean.
“Our goal is to produce conscientious citizens and reward them with a memorable experience,” explained Kids & Fishing’s Founder, John Sakacs. Our sponsors generous donations and participation in our program has allowed us the opportunity to expose school-age children to the magnificence of marine life and the wonders of the Pacific Ocean.
