Description
Kennett High Schools Model United Nations club's mission is to expose student members to the workings of the United Nations and the myriad of global problems they attempt to solve. This exposure happens via simulated conference competitions. These competitions take us to several High Schools, universities, and cities in the northeast and cover anywhere from one to four days. The longer competitions often require us to stay overnight at hotels. This coupled with delegate fees and travel expenses can run the cost into hundreds of dollars for each student. With this in mind we are always looking to fundraise to defer the costs for the high school students who participate.
