Kaw Valley Arts and Humanities through its program administration and capacity building efforts to create a vibrant arts community, seeks to involve the community in the arts so that Wyandotte County, KS has arts opportunities and programs that engage the community and enhance community and economic growth and development. Kansas City, KS, which is located in Wyandotte County, is one of only four KS cities in which the majority of the population comes from underserved, minority groups.
