The Katy Prairie Conservancy (KPC) is a nonprofit land trust dedicated to preserving a sustainable portion of the Flat Out Wonderful Katy Prairie for the benefit of its wildlife and all Texans forever. Located west of downtown Houston, the Katy Prairie is home to one of the densest seasonal concentrations of migratory waterfowl in North America and is vital habitat for other grassland animals and plants.
