Description

The KattyShack Cat Rescue is a Missouri licensed shelter and a 501(c)(3) in Smithville, Missouri. A small rescue, the KattyShack is an actual facility that allows most cats (and kittens) to run free during their stay. Because the KattyShack is small, intake is limited but intake is basically on a first come, first serve basis. If an opening exits, the KattyShack will take whatever cat is next, regardless of age, health or color. The KattyShack serves as temporary lodging for between 30 and 40 cats.
