Description
Our VISION is that every K-12 student in Kansas will become economically and financially literate so they will be more knowledgeable consumers, wiser savers and investors, better employees, and more responsible citizens who will help to avoid future economic and financial crises. In order to reach as many students as possible, our MISSION is to equip teachers to teach personal finance and economics. We equip them by providing training, by providing standards-based curriculum materials, and by providing programs and competitions that engage students with practical applications of knowledge. These programs include The Stock Market Game, LifeSmarts, Financial Foundations for Kids, the Kansas Personal Finance Challenge, the Kansas Economics Challenge, and our Economics Poster Contest.
