By promoting Kansas City sports locally and nationally, and by working behind the scenes to attract, retain and support sports events and organizations here, the nonprofit Kansas City Sports Commission is helping our bi-state region realize the economic, social and community-building benefits of sports. Together with our WIN for KC initiative, which encourages the involvement of girls and women in sports, we are engaging more youth and adults in sports and recreation.
