Kalkaska Citizens for Animals is a 501(3)(c) non-profit organization, which has served the greater Kalkaska area since 2001. Located in northwestern lower Michigan, Kalkaska County's population consists of about 17,000 residents. "KCA" is instrumental in offering spay and neuter clinics for pets in the area, in spaying and neutering a great percentage of the surrenders and strays at the local Animal Control Shelter and, as able, providing financial assistance for emergency medical situations. KCA depends solely on the contributions of local supporters and grants as they become available. Our goal and objective is to provide the community an "Adoption Guaranteed" Humane Society.
