Mission Statement: The mission of the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation is to find a cure for diabetes and its complications through the support of research.
The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation International (JDRF) is dedicated to funding research to find a cure for juvenile diabetes, which strikes children suddenly, makes them insulin dependent for life, and carries the constant threat of devastating complications. JDRF’s sole function is to support research to find a cure for juvenile diabetes soon. JDRF is very efficient: More than 80 percent of JDRF’s expenditures directly support research and research-related education
