Description
JTP is a social justice theater company in its fifth season. Our mission is to bring to the fore of public attention the needs of the poor, the marginalized and the oppressed.
We perform socially relevant plays like The Grapes of Wrath, Dead Man Walking, Mother Courage and Her Children. In February of 2009 will will perform Someone Who'll Watch Over Me. June 09 is Working by Studs Terkel.
We facilitate summer theater camps in Durham, NC for mostly scholarship children. We have after show discussions during every performance, and do educational study guides and outreach at no cost.
