Description
Based in Boston, JRI operates a health center and mental health clinic; street youth outreach; court and probation services; an athletic league; residential schools designed to support adolescent female students coping with trauma histories, mental illness and/or challenging behaviors; residential schools designed to support students coping with multiple diagnoses including mental illness, developmental delays and behavioral dysfunction; a drop-in center for GLTB youth; a residential school for children, adolescents and adults with severe intellectual disabilities who might also require medically supportive settings; comprehensive services for adult developmentally disabled; parenting support programs; a therapeutic day school; HIV/AIDS education and prevention programs; child welfare case management; community based services, and offender services.
