Description

The Junior League of Palo Alto•Mid Peninsula, Inc. is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.

The Junior League of Palo Alto•Mid Peninsula, Inc. tackles difficult social issues such as affordable housing, societal violence, homelessness, drug addiction, and children at risk. The JLPA•MP seeks to affect positive change in these and other community issues, through the hands-on work of our volunteers by funding League-sponsored community projects, by making direct grants to not-for-profit organizations whose interests and priorities are consistent with ours, and by advocating for those with whom we partner on community projects.
