Description
The Junior League of Owensboro is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Our non-profit programs include a Reading Initiative to improve early learning and school readiness; we have a baby layette program to ensure healthy starts for every infant in our community, and we work with young adults on nutrition programs to educate them to smart, healthy eating choices. We also work with the CASA program, foster care agencies, and a childcare crisis prevention center.
