Junior Achievement’s Core Purpose is to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy. Since 1954 JA of Dallas has accomplished its purpose by providing experiences that introduce young people, from kindergarten through 12th grade, to the free enterprise system, engage them in relevant ways with the system, and deeply impact their values and attitudes toward the system.
JA of Dallas focuses its program implementation in the most challenged neighborhoods of our community. We place adult role models from the business world in classrooms full of children eager to break the cycle of poverty and find the road to success. JA volunteers use tested, activity-driven materials and lesson plans to inspire more than 40,000 students each year.
Our volunteers provide a wide array of insights and real life examples that spark the imagination and interest of the children in their classrooms. To get involved with JA of Dallas, check out our website: www.jadallas.org
