Since its founding in 1919, Junior Achievement has been helping students improve their economic and business literacy, as well as their social skills, prepare for college and careers and understand the importance of a productive community.
Junior Achievement (JA) of the Bluegrass was founded in 1963, and is a branch of the world’s largest and fastest growing non-profit economic education organization. Our office serves as a “one stop shop” for economics education in Central Kentucky. JA is the mechanism that brought over 1,400 active community members and educators together last year to make school curricula pertinent to every day life. Our message of financial empowerment is vital to students from all walks of life and JA aligns easily with many subjects, from social studies to mathematics.
