Junction, Inc. is a private, nonprofit agency that provides prevention, intervention, and treatment of substance abuse for individuals, their families and community through education, counseling, community collaboration, and leadership in Carroll County, MD. Junction first opened its doors in 1971 as a drop in center for teens in the Carroll County Community. Over the years it has evolved into an agency that has taken the lead in addressing the substance abuse issues in Carroll County and providing the services to deal with those issues. Junction is certified by the State of Maryland's Alcohol and Drug Abuse Administration to provide three comprehensive services that work towards the prevention, intervention, and treatment of substance abuse in Carroll County. Junction provides services to children, adolescents, families, adults, local organizations and businesses with substance abuse issues and concerns.
