JDPP, Inc. is a company of performing artists who, on stage and in the community, seek to innovate, inspire, educate and collaborate as they engage in art making rooted in the belief that the arts can be a powerful agent for change. Founded in 1989 as a nonprofit organization from Hartford, CT, JDPP performs, educates and provides support for individual artists. Over the 20 years of its history, the Judy Dworin Performance Ensemble has created dance/theater performance that inspires change through creative, movement-based, multi-arts performance that examines social and personal issues of our time. The Moving Matters! Residency program brings dance-theater into the community through collaborative arts education projects that explore movement and the creative arts as tools for learning and personal growth. The Artists Mentoring Artist program moves emerging artists to the next level by nurturing their potential and facilitating their professional growth.
