JTC LifeChanging Center Inc. is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization located in East End of Newport News, Virginia. A community plagued with high crime, drugs, prostitution, low income, and single heads of household. Our mission is to enhance enhance the quality of life in the community by providing programs for youth, young, middle-aged, and seniors. All person involved will be given an opportunity to receive spiritual guidance, should they desire it, to direct them in meeting with success in their endeavors throughout life. All programs are free of charge. The programs offered at JTC LifeChanging Center are as follows: GED Preparatory; Computer Literacy; Family Stabilization; Anger Management; Parenting Classes; and a weekly Food and Clothing Closet.
