Joyful Spirit Church, Bolingbrook, IL is a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in American (ELCA). Joyful Spirit was a new mission start twelve years ago and just got into our own building four years ago. We have a heart for those who have not been part of organized religion before and we also believe in reaching out into our world to bring hope and healing. We have ministries to the homeless in Bolingbrook, IL, to those effected by Hurricane Katrina in Mississippi and to the children in need in Haiti. Our worship is contemporary, always different and fun. We believe that God gave us the gifts of song, dance, drama and laughter and we try to use them all!
