Residents in the Clarke Square neighborhood of Milwaukee's near south side face significant challenges to their quality of life. To this end, Journey House exists as a community infrastructure that increases education, reduces unemployment, lowers the incidence of crime, strengthens the family structure, and revitalizes the surrounding neighborhood. At Journey House, we empower families by working with community and utilizing a self-help philosophy. Our comprehensive programming involves the whole family, from Early Childhood and Youth Leadership Development to Adult Basic Education and Workforce Readiness. With over 40 years of experience empowering families in the Milwaukee community, our history provides us with a proven path for the way forward.
