The Vision of the Johnson Institute is that anyone experiencing the harmful effects of addiction to alcohol and other drugs will find a path to recovery through early intervention, appropriate care, family involvement, and community support.
The Mission of the Johnson Institute is to promote the pwoer and possibility of recovery from alcoholism and other drug dependence through the identifcation and elimination of barriers to recovery.
For over 40 years, the Johnson Institute has pioneered better practices and better poliies for addiction prevention, intervention, treatment, and recovery. Because public understanding of addiction disease is growing; now is the time to change how America responds to this illness.
