Description
Jiamini is a scholarship fund for at risk students in southern Tanzania. We work with top primary school students,primarily orphans, with no way to pay their school fees.
Once accepted into our program, students attend the Jiamini tutoring program to prepare them for the secondary school entrance exam. Upon entering secondary school each student's education is completely paid for by Jiamini.
We also work with local schools to provide them with resources such as textbooks and teaching supplies and to improve student health.
Jiamini is a volunteer-run organization with no overhead so 100% of all donations go directly to our students and schools.
