Description
The mission of Jewish Family Services of Washtenaw County (JFS) is dedicated to improving lives and enhancing the well being of people from all walks of life and religious backgrounds. Established in 1993, the agency provides support, education, advocacy, and comfort to refugees, non-English speakers, families in crisis, older adults, and unemployed, in Washtenaw County. The JFS mission is to address the human services concerns which affect individuals and families in a manner sensitive to Jewish culture, values and ideas while respecting diversity within an ever changing society.
