Description

Jewish Family Services of Greater Kansas City (JFS) is unique in its inclusiveness. Our mission has always been to reach out to the entire community and people of all ages and all economic situations, wherever there is a need. JFS is also unique in its holistic approach to care, offering programs for the mind, body and spirit. These servics include: counseling; case management; homecare for the elderly or disabled; dietary consultation; and chaplaincy programs. The agency also offers services for prospective adoptive parents, educational assessments for children and consultation for parents, teachers and teens. Lastly the agency is unique in its longevity. For over 105 years, JFS has provided care to those who need it. We were founded upon the Jewish values of preserving the well-being, comfort and dignity of others. We are proud to dedicate ourselves each day to help provide peace of mind and a better life for everyone we serve regardless of age, race, ethnicity or religion.
