Description

Jewish Family and Children's Services (JFCS) is dedicated to serving as the problem-solving center for our community. Our mission is to respond to human needs with responsive, professional, compassionate care – cradle to rocking chair. Our hope is that no one will be turned away due to inability to pay. Established in 1850,JFCS has been a catalyst for change by providing people of all ages, faiths, and ethnicities with the encouragement and tools to become productive, self-reliant members of society.

Last year over 55,000 people were helped over a 5-county area, with a majority receiving fully or partially subsidized care.85% of funds raised go directly to help people. Our administration and fundraising costs are less than 15%.
