The Jessie Hopkins Hinchee Foundation is not-for-profit corporation governed by a Board of Directors. It was established in 1980 by parents and other concerned citizens dedicated to providing quality health care and services to persons with developmental disabilities. These and other individuals continue to be involved at all levels of the organization, from occasional assistance to ongoing participation.
The Hinchee Foundation first opened "Milton House," a long-term care facility in 1981; licensed as an Intermediate Care Facility for the Developmentally Disable/Habitative (ICF-DD/H)
In 1993 we opened a second facility licensed "Jessica House," as an Intermediate Care for the Developmentally Disabled/Nursing (ICF-DD/N).
Our mission is to enhance the quality of life individuals with developmental disabilities by providing them with a safe and comfortable home environment, promoting their health, self-sufficiency and happiness, and seeking their grater acceptance in the community.
