Jenna Foundation for Nonviolence

about

Crime Victims Advocacy geared to victims of violent crime including guidance through the criminal justice system and direction to counseling and medical care, as needed. The Jenna Foundation was established in the name of Jenna Grieshaber, murdered in her apartment by a paroled violent felon in Albany, NY in 1997. Jenna was only weeks from graduating from Russell Sage College with a degree in nursing and was a clear example of a good role model. Her family established the Foundation to keep the lessons of her life alive and to promote her belief in peace and the importance of kindness and understanding.
