Description
A Non-profit Parent Teacher Association that supports Jefferson Elementary School in Carlsbad, California. Jefferson is a Title 1 High Achieving School, as well as a California Distinguished School. Jefferson Elementary was recently authorized as an International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program (IB/PYP) School. This is an academic program of 'inquiry' which emphasizes teaching students from a global perspective, respect for others, critical and higher level thinking skills, and the development of independent study and research skills.
