Non-Profit organization who's mission is to find a cure for diabetes and its complication through the support of research. We are dedicated to finding a cure for juvenile diabetes. To that end the Central New York Chapter, formed in 1996, serves 19 counties and has experienced continuous growth since that time. Board President, Kim Michalak, an active board of 25 members, and the JDRF staff work together to offer local programs that include support and assistance to newly diagnosed individuals and their families, continued education and awareness and numerous events to fund a cure for diabetes and its complications through the support of research
