Description
The JD Breast Cancer Foundation provides financial and emotional support to young women diagnosed with breast cancer. In addition
to offering support group meetings and supportive services to women and their families, we provide financial relief to those struggling to afford basic living needs. Assistance may be in the form of rent, mortgage, or utility payments or grocery
cards to purchase food or prescriptions, vouchers for transportation or childcare, or other solutions for specific needs. A hotline service is available at all times. Those in need of support may call for information and or referrals to ancillary services to ensure that various sources of help are accessible for patients and their families. The JD Breast Cancer Foundation is dedicated to spreading breast cancer awareness throughout the community. Numerous educational events have been held to increase screening and early detection, particularly within uninsured or underserved populations.
